Mind and emotions
Eye to eye with yourself
a series of meetings
The “Eye to eye with yourself” series builds awareness of how the mind affects our mental form, long-term health and resilience.
We stand face to face with our own mind on two levels, emotions and logic, and with emotional agility as a competence of the future. We add neurofitness exercises to make the new knowledge enjoyable too.
Meetings in the series
- Meeting the emotions: the battle our mind wages between emotions and logic, the “chimp paradox” and how to face our emotions wisely
- Meeting the logical mind: why strong emotions stop us thinking logically, what creative neurofitness is, and what supports focus and time management
- Emotional agility as a competence of the future: emotional traps, suppressing, venting and redirecting emotions, their effect on health and effectiveness, and everyday cooperation with emotions
