Change, growth and crisis
Leading people through crisis and adversity
a workshop for leaders and managers
Crisis, burnout or emotional breakdown can affect anyone. For leaders these moments are especially demanding, not only in terms of decisions but above all in terms of relationships. The employee needs not to be “fixed”, but presence, attention and a safe conversation.
The workshop prepares leaders to accompany people in crisis consciously, without acting as a therapist, without crossing boundaries and without burning out as the supporter. It draws on crisis psychology, crisis intervention and practical experience of working with people in difficult moments.
Participants
- recognise signs of crisis, overload and burnout in employees
- hold conversations with a person in crisis in an empathetic and safe way
- understand the basic psychological mechanisms in crisis situations
- know which role a leader should and should not take in a crisis
- look after their own boundaries and resources while supporting others responsibly
