Positive influence in communication
“People hear your words, but they feel your attitude” (J.C. Maxwell). Even the best rational arguments fail without knowing the laws of positive influence.
The art of persuasion translates directly into effective conversations, meetings, presentations and sales, even with a difficult audience. We draw on positive psychology and the evolutionary approach: when we influence others, we influence emotional beings, not only rational ones.
Participants
- know how to make the other side notice us, listen and engage in joint action
- can reach the interlocutor’s “primal brain”: spark emotion and curiosity and be remembered
- use the laws of positive influence to achieve their goals
- distinguish persuasion from manipulation and know how to resist manipulation
- communicate and give feedback in the spirit of positive psychology
