Stress, resilience and recovery
The stress virus
basic and advanced versions
A training on how stress works and how not to get pulled into its spiral. We run it in two versions: basic, for teams who want to understand how stress works and learn simple tools, and advanced, for people who want to change their habitual reactions and build long-term resilience.
Basic version
- the reputation of stress: how stress affects our body
- the vicious circle: stress, physiology, pressure and emotions in everyday life
- micro-actions: small tools for coping with stress that really work
- outcome: participants know how to avoid the stress spiral and can apply techniques for coping with occupational stress
Advanced version
- “stress is harmful if you believe it is”: how health psychology changed the way we see occupational stress
- strategies versus reactions: how to change habitual reactions in the face of strong emotions
- long-term stress resilience habits and how to put them into practice
- outcome: participants gain a sense of control and know the habits that support regular recovery
